Target Group

This course is principally designed for adult professionals with an academic background, and those who have acquired similar skills through their working experience, e.g.:

Specialists from technical, scientific, business administration and other fields with aspirations of entering employment areas with international companies.

Seminar Aims

The major objective of this course is to enable you as a high potential job candidate to develop the skills required by companies operating in the global market. In particular, our seminar´s aims are designed to introduce you to the techniques of international management, to develop your global marketing and sales skills, to improve your communication skills in English and deepen your intercultural sensitivity.

  • Marketing (120 hours) - Market Research, Strategic Marketing, Marketing Mix, Target Markets, Marketing across Cultures, Buyer Behaviour and Market Segments, Distribution Policy
  • Sales (120 hours) - Sales Organisation, Customer Orientation, Elements of a Successful Sale, Sales Tools and Approaches, Managing Obstacles, Sales Contracts
  • Business Development & Reengineering (80 hours) - Managing Business and Change, Managing Total Customer and Employee Satisfaction
  • Business English Skills (80 hours) - Business Presentations, Negotiations, Business Correspondence
  • Business Administration (80 hours) - Costs, Revenues and Profits, Budgets, Reports, Business Analysis, Cash Flow, Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Finance and Investment
  • Intercultural Training (120 hours) - Managing Cultural Diversity, Intercultural Sensitivity: USA, Asia
  • Project Management (80 hours) - Project Goals, Project Planning, Project Control, Critical Path Analysis, Project Handling with MS-Project
  • Interpersonal Skills (120 hours) - Teams and Leadership, Communication and Socializing, Conflict Resolution
  • Electronic Data Processing (80 hours) - MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Applying for Jobs (80 hours) - Applications, Interviewing
  • Internship Program (480 hours) - in a suitable international company

Internship Program

Following the theoretical part of the course you will complete a three-month internship program. We will assist you in finding a suitable company in which you will gather experience in an international business setting. The internship program can also include working at a location abroad.

Throughout the Course and Internship Program you will be provided with advisory services and carrier guidance.

Financial Information

This course will be 100% government subsidized by the employment center ("Agentur für Arbeit") according to the regulations of "SGB III". To determine whether you fulfil the subsidy requirements please contact your employment adviser at your local employment center.

Certification

Upon course completion you will receive a certificate containing detailed information about the course curriculum and documenting your individual results.
